We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst who can uncover deep insights into consumer motivations, behaviors, and expectations, and translate these into actionable data signals to better engage key audiences.
What will your day look like?
As a Junior Data Analyst, you have a passion for combining behavioral science knowledge with big data to find innovative ways to engage with people and partners to solve problems. You also possess a strong experience working with research-based data sets and behavioral data (1PD or 3PD) to develop custom analyses and segmentations. You excel in designing analyses, assessing data quality and opportunities for improvement, developing look-alike models, and synthesizing insights. This role will heavily support insight development, audience strategy initiatives, requirement setting and delivery of custom data to some of our top clients.
More specifically, your tasks include:
- Being accountable for all analytics on a project with oversight from analytics lead on the broader project
- Reviewing 1PD availability and assess feasibility for enhanced audience profiling, modelling or in-market activation
- Segmentation solution development and profiling plan design to solve for scoped business problem
- Owning data quality control for analysis – which often requires setting research design, data plan and sample considerations
- Translating business challenges into an analysis plan and explain the rationale behind research design
- Developing audience segmentation solutions (via research and/or consumer data)
- Supporting development of look-a-like and behavior propensity models
- Evaluating and improve internal quantitative and/or research processes

You'll join an innovative team of data scientists and analysts who are passionate about combining behavioral science with big data to solve complex client challenges. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly contribute to some of our top clients' success stories.
The Insight & Optimization Team conducts behavioral science-based research to size, validate and understand audiences with unique behaviors and mindsets. The goal is to develop insights that will enable data-driven activation plans for key segments to enhance targeting and personalization, experience planning, testing opportunities, etc. – so our work is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients. Our primary deliverables include audience strategy vision setting, segmentation development, progressive profiling, segmentation/propensity modeling in 1PD databases, audience setup in priority data sources, multimodal customer research design and execution, brand and competitor analyses, and more.
What do you bring to the table?
You're a naturally curious analytical thinker who excels at finding hidden stories in data. You combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving skills and enjoy translating complex insights into actionable recommendations. You are comfortable working with first party data to assess available costumer data and set requirements for activation/scoring.
- B.S. or B.A. is required, but advanced degree (M.A., M.S., Ph.D.) in statistics, economics, or related quantitative field is also preferred.
Ideally, you also possess:
- A minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in database marketing
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform preferred
- Proven coding ability - Python and SQL experience highly preferred
- Experience working on cloud-based platforms CDPs (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus
- Proven experience with segmentation methodologies
- Expertise with regression models and database scoring
- Knowledge of a variety of analysis techniques such as: KMeans clustering, partial correlation, factoring, linear regression, Bayesian Network analysis, etc.
- Passion for understanding human behavior – capable to support research, data analysis and profiling
- Experience determining & applying different quantitative methods for solving problems
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
